This gorgeous Fenton glass pitcher has an eye-catching mix of rosy cranberry pink and milky opalescent dots. Raised coin-shaped circles wrap around its rounded body and slender neck, while a softly ruffled pouring rim and clear applied glass handle give it an elegant, handmade look. The color and pattern shift beautifully as the light moves through the glass.

Fenton Art Glass of Williamstown, West Virginia, is well known for its colorful decorative glass, including cranberry opalescent and Coin Dot designs. Pieces with comparable patterns and forms are associated with Fenton's mid-twentieth-century production. A reasonable working date for this pitcher is circa 1950s–1960s, although the exact catalog form and production year have not been conclusively matched.

Standing approximately 7 inches tall, this pitcher looks wonderful displayed on a shelf or among other pieces of Fenton opalescent glass. The beautifully contrasting dots, sculpted lip and curved transparent handle make it especially appealing from every angle.
