Fenton White Milk Glass Hobnail Three-Horn Epergne with Label

$98.00

Three flared glass horns rise from a broad, ruffled bowl in this Fenton Hobnail epergne. The glossy white milk glass gives the centerpiece a soft, sculptural presence, while rows of raised hobnails add texture to the horns, bowl exterior and foot. Each trumpet has its own swept, crimped opening, creating a flower-like arrangement above the bowl.

The set includes four pieces: one footed bowl and three removable horns. Each horn fits into a separate socket inside the bowl. Close-up photographs show all three mounting pegs, the empty sockets and the underside, so you can examine the construction as well as the assembled appearance.

Fenton identification is supported by the molded oval script mark underneath the bowl and the original gold-and-black glassworker label retained inside. This is the Hobnail pattern. An exact production year or catalog number is not assigned.

The assembled centerpiece measures approximately 9½ inches tall. The width photograph suggests roughly 9 inches across, although ruler placement and perspective make this an approximate guide. The unpacked four-piece set weighs 4 lb 4.9 oz. One complete epergne is included in this listing; the photographs show the actual set offered.

Condition: Previously owned, with scattered dust, small surface marks and light brownish residue visible in some rim folds, interiors and on one horn peg. All three horns are present. No definite chips, cracks or repairs are apparent in the supplied photographs, but please examine the close-ups carefully rather than assuming pristine condition.

The removable horns and deeply ruffled bowl make this a striking display piece for a milk-glass collection, dining-room sideboard or mantel. Lift and move the bowl and horns separately, supporting each glass piece carefully.

Please review the photos for details and condition. As with all vintage items, this piece may show minor signs of age or handling. Any notable condition issues are described above.
