Monogram SnapTite 1982 Chevrolet Malibu Police Car 1/32 Model Kit 1031

Monogram SnapTite Malibu Police Car kit no. 1031 is a 1/32 scale plastic model of a Chevrolet police sedan with Mount Prospect markings. The box describes a 1982 Malibu and carries a 1981 copyright date. The finished model is approximately 6 inches long, according to the packaging.

The snap-together design includes police lights, a two-way radio and bucket seats, with decals for an all-white or black-and-white finish. This example includes the original box, molded parts, instruction sheet and decal sheet shown in the photographs.

The box is open, and completeness has not yet been verified. Parts are shown loose and on sprues, with light surface marks on the body. The box has creases, edge and corner wear, and a split corner; the instructions and decals show age-related discoloration. Decal usability has not been tested. This is a model kit requiring assembly, not a finished model.
