Moon & Star Amberina Glass Cheese Dish with Lid

This beautiful Moon & Star amberina glass cheese dish is a striking piece of pressed glass with the bold color and classic pattern collectors look for. The covered dish features the familiar Moon & Star design around the domed lid, with raised circular motifs and starburst details that give the glass plenty of texture and sparkle.

The amberina coloring shifts from warm amber and orange tones into deeper red along the edges, creating a rich fiery appearance that really comes alive in bright light. The lid is finished with a substantial decorative glass knob, while the matching round base has a softly scalloped edge that complements the shape of the cover.

Originally made as a cheese dish, this piece also works beautifully as a covered serving dish, centerpiece, or display piece in a glassware collection. It would be especially at home with collections of Moon & Star glass, amberina glassware, pressed glass, retro tableware, colorful kitchen glass, and collectible American glass.

The lid and base display very nicely together, and the dramatic amberina color makes this a standout piece whether it is used on the table or displayed in a cabinet. Please review all photos closely for the exact condition and coloring of the glass.
