Westmoreland Frosted Glass Covered Dish with Pink Floral Decal

$24.00

Soft frosted glass and pink-and-white blossoms give this Westmoreland covered dish a sweet, understated look. The rounded bowl has two angular handles, a low foot and a matching lid with a sculpted finial. A dogwood-style floral transfer decal decorates the lid and bowl, with slender pink lines around the lid and foot. The decoration is a decal, not described as hand-painted.

The original Westmoreland foil label remains inside the bowl. Clear glass with a frosted finish lets the light through beautifully, while a molded starburst adds detail underneath. The exact mold pattern and production date have not been confirmed.

Measures approximately 4.5 inches tall with the lid and 4.5 inches across the bowl, excluding handles. The dish and lid together weigh 1 lb 0.9 oz before packing. One covered dish is included.

Pre-owned condition with visible scattered dark specks, surface marks and scratches, especially inside the bowl and around the lid rim, plus wear to the pink trim and base edge. No obvious major chips or cracks are visible in the supplied photographs. Please review the close-ups for the condition of the rims, base and decoration. A charming shelf or vanity accent for small keepsakes.

This pre-owned vintage item may show signs of age and use. Please review the photos and condition details carefully, as they are part of the description.
