Clear Pressed Glass Pickle Jar with Lid

This clear pressed-glass pickle jar pairs a straight-sided cylindrical body with a removable glass lid. Tall fan-like motifs rise above a band of diamonds and small star shapes, while the lid has radiating ribs, a scalloped edge and a rounded fluted knob. The clear glass lets the molded pattern catch the light from every side.

The two-piece jar and lid make a useful addition to a glassware display or a decorative arrangement of small keepsakes. The maker, named pattern and production date have not been confirmed, so this piece is offered without a specific attribution. The sale includes the glass jar and lid only; no metal stand, tongs or other utensils are included.
