Fenton Cranberry Opalescent Coin Dot Glass Pitcher – 9 Inch

$168.00

This gorgeous Fenton cranberry opalescent Coin Dot pitcher has a rich rosy-pink color and rows of soft white opalescent dots that seem to glow against the darker glass. The rounded body narrows into a graceful neck before opening into a wide, sculpted pouring lip. A clear applied glass handle provides a beautiful contrast and makes the pitcher especially attractive from either side.

Fenton Art Glass of Williamstown, West Virginia, became known for colorful handmade American glass, including its opalescent and Coin Dot designs. This pitcher is consistent with Fenton's mid-century cranberry opalescent production, likely from approximately the 1950s–1960s, although an exact catalog match and production year have not been established.

Standing approximately 9 inches tall, it makes a lovely centerpiece or display piece among other cranberry or opalescent glassware. The contrasting dots and sculptural lip have plenty of visual interest even when the pitcher is empty.

Condition detail: There is a small, dark-colored raised nodule beneath the inside rim, clearly shown in the close-up photo. Its origin has not been confirmed. Please review the photo to evaluate this feature before purchasing; no claim is made that it is a chip or manufacturing flaw.
