Fenton Custard Satin Grape & Cable Tobacco Jar with Lid

This Fenton custard satin glass tobacco jar features the detailed Grape & Cable pattern in a soft, opaque pale yellow. Raised grape clusters, veined leaves and curling vines wrap around the body, with molded cable bands and a fluted lower border adding texture. The matching lid repeats the grape decoration and is topped with a broad round knob.

The satin finish gives the molded pattern a gentle, frosted appearance. Its rounded shape and substantial size make it a lovely display piece for a glass cabinet, shelf or collection of Fenton art glass. The jar and lid are offered together as the two-piece set pictured.

Approximately 7 1/2 inches tall with the lid in place. The photographed unpacked weight is 4 lb 14.7 oz.

Visible wear includes surface scuffs, scattered dark marks, rubbing around the base and a small discolored spot inside the lid. Please examine the close-up photographs for the finish and condition of this particular piece. Offered as collectible decorative glass.
