Fenton Custard Uranium Glass Ruffled Melon Vase

Soft yellow custard glass, rounded melon ribs and a deeply ruffled mouth give this small Fenton vase plenty of character. The satin finish glows bright green under UV light, as shown in the photos. It stands approximately 5¾ inches tall on a round foot.

The form is consistent with Fenton's ruffled melon vase. The base is unmarked, and its exact production date has not been confirmed. A missing molded mark alone does not establish a pre-1970 date.

Pre-owned condition with visible gray surface scuffs and fine scratch-like lines, scattered dark marks, a brownish patch of residue or discoloration on the neck, and wear around the ruffled rim and foot. Please examine the close-up photos carefully; this is not a pristine example. No large chips are apparent in the supplied photos.
