Fenton Diamond Lace Milk Glass 3-Horn Epergne Centerpiece - Repaired

A striking example of Fenton art glass, this Diamond Lace three-horn epergne is made in classic opaque white milk glass and features an elaborate combination of texture, ruffles, and sculptural form.

The centerpiece features a large ruffled bowl resting on a pedestal base, with the exterior decorated in Fenton’s distinctive Diamond Lace pattern. Three removable trumpet-shaped horns rise from the center, each carrying the same textured diamond design and finishing in a dramatic flared, ruffled rim. When assembled, the three horns create an impressive tiered silhouette that makes this piece especially eye-catching from every angle.

Epergnes were designed as decorative centerpieces and could be used to display flowers or other arrangements. Today, examples like this are particularly appealing to collectors of Fenton milk glass, American art glass, epergnes, and ornate Victorian-inspired glassware. The all-white color lets the intricate molded details and exaggerated ruffled edges take center stage.

Please note that this example has condition issues and a previous repair. One of the three horns originally suffered a break at the male peg/stem that inserts into the base. That portion has been replaced/repaired, allowing the horn to once again fit into its receptacle. The repair and replacement portion are visible in the close-up photographs. There are also a couple of small chips around one of the horn receptacles in the base. Additional signs of age, use, and storage may be present.

Despite the damage, the epergne displays beautifully when assembled and offers an opportunity to own an impressive Fenton centerpiece at a price that can reflect its repaired condition.
