Bring a striking piece of Mid-Century Modern glass into your collection with this L.E. Smith Peacock Blue swung vase. The rich blue-green Peacock Blue color is especially eye-catching, shifting from brilliant turquoise-blue to deeper jewel tones as light passes through the varying thicknesses of the glass.

Standing approximately 15 inches tall, this vase has the classic sculptural form associated with L.E. Smith swung glass. A broad, rounded base gradually narrows into an elongated neck before finishing in a dramatic asymmetrical swung opening. Because the rim was shaped during production, its flowing form gives the vase a distinctive, almost organic silhouette.

The combination of the saturated Peacock Blue glass and tall freeform shape makes this an excellent display piece even without flowers. Place it on a mantel, console, bookshelf, or alongside other swung vases and colorful Mid-Century art glass.

Details: Made by L.E. Smith Glass Company in Peacock Blue glass. Measures approximately 15” tall and about 6” across at the widest portion of the base. Features a hand-shaped asymmetrical swung rim, elongated neck, rounded body, and substantial glass base.

As with hand-worked glass from this era, minor bubbles, tooling marks, variations in the glass, and other manufacturing characteristics may be present. These are typical of the production process and help give each swung vase its individual character. Please review the photos carefully for the exact condition and appearance of this piece.
