Ravage 2099 #1 1992 Gold Foil Stan Lee Paul Ryan 1st Appearance Marvel

A distinctive early Marvel 2099 release, Ravage 2099 #1 launched an original character created specifically for Marvel’s futuristic 2099 universe.

Published in December 1992, the issue was written by Stan Lee with artwork by Paul Ryan. Unlike Spider-Man 2099, Doom 2099, and Punisher 2099, Ravage was not a futuristic reinterpretation of an existing Marvel hero; he was created as a new character for the line. This issue contains the first full appearance of Ravage. Wikipedia

The direct-market first issue features the highly recognizable gold-foil cardstock cover, a hallmark of early-1990s collector editions. The Grand Comics Database confirms the direct edition used the gold foil cover. Grand Comics Database
