This lidded ceramic canister has a cream ribbed body decorated with raised mushrooms and leafy details. Its glossy golden yellow and brown lid is topped with a little mushroom finial, and a smaller mushroom motif appears on the back. A “Made in Japan” sticker remains on the base. The canister stands about 10 inches tall with the lid on.

It presents well overall, with no cracks visible in the photos. There is some glaze wear along the underside rim of the lid and age-related wear and discoloration on the foot; please see the close-up photos. A colorful piece for a vintage kitchen display or for keeping small items together.
